If a little spot has a yellow head (about to pop) then you should 'put it out of its misery' so to speak.





However, if a spot is still reddish and just developed then don't squeeze it cos the stuff hasn't come to the surface yet and the spot might get aggravated.





Sometimes it's best just to leave them be until they clear up - but don't worry about tiny little ones they come out easily.Why is it bad to squeeze your spots?

Its bad to squeeze your spots for many reasons. It can cause temporary/permanent scarring, it can make the redness worse and the germs on your fingers will transfer into the problem area usually making them bigger. Ive heard that using tea tree oil, toothpaste and even perfume can help heal spots. Hope this helps (: x
When you squeeze your spot, pus comes out right? That pus is the white blood cells which are trying to HELP you clear your spots away. If you're squeezing them out, not only is it getting rid of the thing that's helping you but you're going to make your face worse by leaving a scar.
Only squeeze it if it has a white/ yellow head- and make sure you squeeze all the icky stuff out, otherwise it will just grow back


The red spots without these sort of heads are bad to squeeze, because it will just make them worse!

The pus from them spreads to other areas on your face unless you keep it really clean and also it can cause scarring....I personally just let a spot go down by itself....Its not worth permanant marks on your skin for just one or two days of a spot.
No. It's gross when someone is walking around with this huge pus filled lesion on their face... eeeew


Try and use a sterile needle or something to prevent spreading infection though. Like put it in a lighter or something 1st.
The gunk that comes out of it can cause another spot if touches off clear part of skin

They can spread. You can develop boils, which are ALOT worse too. They go red. etc.......
Because when you do, you break tiny capillaries and cause more redness.

They will just come right back an be bigger
it is going bigger(the spot) and it is gonna leave u a big black circle where ur spot was.
