How do u prevent and treat brown spots on ure face?

i have these brown spots on my face from the sun, i use sunscreen everyday, but they still show. is there anyway without laser i could remove and prevent them to come back? How do u prevent and treat brown spots on ure face?
Sun spots (age spots), also known as lentigines, are harmless, flat, brown discolorations of the skin which usually occur on the back of the hands, neck and face of people older than 40 years of age. These spots more than anything else, give away a person's age. Sun spots are caused by the skin being exposed to the sun over many years and are a sigh of sun damage. If you do not believe that these brown, ugly marks on the back of your hands and face are caused by sunlight, look at the skin on your inner thigh. You will see that the skin of the inner thigh is completely devoid of age spots. Sun spots are harmless and do not need to be treated unless they are changing or getting bigger than the surrounding sun spots. Now to treat and prevent them, is to use liberal amounts of sunscreen before the age of forty, avoid the sun, and wear protective clothing. These measures will also help prevent the formation of skin cancer and wrinkles. I use botanically based products which is way much better because they get absorbed and the nutrients inside the products is what helps our skin look and feel healthy..For spots like these use NutiMinC RE9 night creme from Arbonne for they have natural ingredients to lighnten skin (for example kojic acid), i buy them online at: http://arbonnepuertorico.myarbonne.com ... under shop online .they are not sold in stores but it is a great way to buy becasue they have this money back guarantee if for some reason there is something you do not like from the products you get your money back guarantee (within 45 days from purchase) so you have nothing to loose, only the sun spots ;~)....How do u prevent and treat brown spots on ure face?

Try rubbing lemon juice on them. This is an old trick from Latin countries that my friend used to get rid of her daughter's freckles in the summer.

PS- If you have even a hint of natural red hair....good luck!
in addition to spf just try and stay outta the sun :) the spots may be cause by a medication so check that out too. you can also get a script for something like retin-a which removes layers of skin and new glowing skin will eventually show through. maybe even a fading cream, try the skin cream isle, top top or bottom bottom shelf. good luck.
1. Hydroquinone. Hydroquinone has been around for a long time and is an ingredient in over-the-counter fade creams like Porcelana. Some people are sensitive to it, and it can cause some rare but serious side effects. You can also get this in prescription strength from a doctor.

2. Kojic acid. Also available over the counter in more expensive skin lightening serums and creams.

3. Retin A. Sometimes used with treatments #1 and #2 to remove dead skin cells (including the discolored ones) and allow the active ingredients in skin care products to work more effectively. You need a prescription for Retin A.

You have to continue to use a high-SPF sunscreen faithfully, one that blocks both UVA and UVB rays. Otherwise the spots will come right back. :-(

Good luck...
you could try aha, and that might minimize the spots, but if they are growing. It should be a concern to you and you should have them looked at. Melanoma is a big source of cancer. And in any case what ever youdo you should minimize your time in the sun, wear a hat, and drink lots of water.
You should speak with a skin doctor...

if you have spots from the sun that wont go away then you should go see a doctor because it could be skin cancer.
