Should I use concealer or foundation to hide dark spots in my face?

concealer. Like the name suggests, it's meant to conceal or help hide little imperfections and dark spots on your skin. It also tends to be thicker than foundation. Foundation is meant to spread all over your face to create an overall consistency in your skin tone.Should I use concealer or foundation to hide dark spots in my face?
concealer in a yellowish tone to balance the dark spots and then put your reguar foundation over top.Should I use concealer or foundation to hide dark spots in my face?
concealer plus pressed powder...works for me..... foundation feels too thick
concealer. foundation shows, but the former doesn't...
umm well concealer is good just to cover up certain spots like ur dark spots so i would use that. Plus foundation goes all over ur face and will make u break out probably so unless u wana cover up ur entire face just use the concealer and if u think it doesnt cover up enough switch to the foundation.
Concealer because it is thicker and then put a foundation over it
concealer. also try oil of olay's regenerist stuff....it helps fade dark spots on your skin and make your skin brighter and younger looking. it worked fairly well for me.
Definately a concealer. Make sure you use the right shade though. Try the Maybelline concealers, they're good.

your gonna need a liquid foundation to put on first, then a powder concealer to make your face look even thats what i do and it works like a charm, i use MAC products or TRUE MATCH from cvs both work fine!
Both.

Put your foundation on FIRST, to help soften the appearance of the spot. As long as you have the correct shades, it is fine (and best, actually) to apply concealer last - you won't be able to see it. Plus, if you apply concealer first and then foundation, all your careful blending and covering will be a loss once you rub your sponge or finger over it to apply foundation, at which point you'll end up putting on more concealer to cover it again, which will look cakey and only draw more attention to the spot. So seriously, foundation first, then concealer.

Then, apply concealer with a brush ONLY TO THE DARK SPOT. If you put it anywhere else, even by blending, it won't help. Less is more - start with a teeny tiny bit of concealer, and blend with a brush, again, being careful to only apply concealer to the dark spot. Then use the ';stipple effect'; to finish off: use your ring finger and gently pat the area where you applied concealer, to blend out any brush strokes.

It's important to use the foundation all over your face, not just the dark spot. If you don't usually wear foundation, or don't want to, just use concealer, following the same steps as above for application and blending. Either way, it's best to follow with a dusting of loose powder to help set the foundation and/ or concealer.
If your are going to do a foundation. ask someone who uses it wat the best kind is. foundation can be tricky. for covering dark spots i would suggest use foundation as a base then use powder to set it.
You need to use both. It is so important to find the right shades though. You need to go to a counter where someone tries them on you. You dab concealer on blemishes, dark eye circles, and other skin imperfections. Do not apply to entire face. Then you put the foundation over your entire face. Make sure not to use powder with concealer because it builds up and makes the area stand out even more.
