Does toothpaste actually help to reduce spots?

If I have a whitehead that I want to get rid of or at least the white part of the spt, does toothpaste help to do this. If so, do I just apply it and not rub it in after I have washed my face? thanksDoes toothpaste actually help to reduce spots?
yes. something in the toothpaste dries up the white head. put some toothpaste on your face before you go to bed or whatever and then wait a while and wash it off. i works for me.

a minty white toothpaste works best...You can buy mini ones in the travel sections in gas stations or even walmart and they are like 1 dollar (unless you use white already) What i do is apply at night. Sometimes i can feel when a pimple is coming on, sometimes that part is sore. So i apply and it goes away. If there is already one and you need to zap it, put it on immediately and leave it there for 15-20 mins and it should dry up...the redness might not go away but it wont look as bad as having a white head on your face!

oh! and wash your face after you've applied the paste just a little dab thats all you need.
The mint in the toothpaste is what can help it, I believe.

Just put a little dab on the zit before you go to sleep, wake up, and then wash it off.

:)
well it helps dry it up put it on when you go to bed. and see what happens in the morning
